In new construction, heat pumps are almost always used in conjunction with underfloor heating. Heat pumps are also gaining ground in renovations. The low temperature radiator Elia with axial fans under the grille and fully automatic control offers a good solution here, but can also be perfectly combined with other low temperature systems, such as a condensing (high efficiency) gas wall boiler.

In new construction houses, the entire heating system is planned based on energy efficiency aspects and the owner's personal needs. Heat pumps are designed primarily for surface heating and sometimes for surface cooling. In renovations, things are different. Usually heating systems are designed for the high supply temperatures with oil and gas burners. When switching to an efficient low-temperature heating system with heat pump or condensing boiler, the supply temperatures are significantly reduced. Until now, new heating systems had to be installed or modern radiators with a larger heating surface had to be chosen, which cost a lot of money and effort. This is now changing. In fact, the Elia radiator is easy to combine with a heat pump or with a condensing boiler / high efficiency central heating boiler.

Heating and cooling

With the Vasco Elia you can heat and cool. Together with a heat pump designed as standard for heating and cooling, the Elia provides a comfortable temperature in both winter and summer. The Elia uses integrated axial fans protected by a cover grille. They distribute heat or cold particularly quickly and operate whisper quietly (low-noise comfort operation < 30 dB(A)). At flow temperatures between 35°C and 65°C there is already a comfortable heating comfort. At flow temperatures up to 17°C, the radiator cools (dry cooling).

Installing the Elia is easy because it comes pre-assembled and ready to plug in: the installer does not have to manually connect the fan packages or connect the plug cable to the control board. Like a regular panel radiator, the Elia is simply mounted on the wall, connected to the piping and then powered via the wall socket. The factory-set valve insert makes installation even easier
