With a new, energy-neutral production site of 8,700m2, Van der Valk Solar Systems is committed to corporate responsibility as a sustainable developer. The solar product range is being enriched with a drainage clip and the company is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
The production facilities of Van der Valk Solar Systems are being expanded to the new premises of no less than 8,700 m2 in Monster. Over a year ago, the first pile with all the names of the employees on it went into the ground; after all, they form the foundation of the company. Followed by 750 piles and a year of intensive work on the building, it has already been completed.
This is Van der Valk Solar Systems' first commercial building that is almost completely energy-neutral. Thanks to solar panels, well-insulated halls and a heat pump, the organization is largely no longer dependent on fossil fuel. The organization is contributing to a better environment and CO2 emissions have been reduced enormously as a result. Waste disposal has been fully optimized thanks to automatic drainage via gutters in the floor. Through corporate social responsibility, Van der Valk Solar Systems contributes to a future-proof production of solar mounting systems.
Product Update
In addition to building a new product location, the organization has certainly not been sitting still. Van der Valk Solar Systems is continuously working on improvements to make solar mounting systems even more convenient, reliable and complete. To get even more efficiency out of the PV system, the drainage clip is now available.
Precipitation can cause standing water and dirt to accumulate along the lower edge and in the corners of the PV panel. This dirt can cause lower efficiency of the PV system. The drainage clip, through the law of communicating vessels, ensures that water and dirt are removed and that it does not remain in the edge and corners of the PV panel. This keeps the efficiency of the PV system optimal. The drainage clip is made of UV-resistant plastic and can withstand the temperature fluctuations that can occur on a roof. The drainage clip is easily clipped to the panel frame and works best as a pair. Place the clip on ⅓ and ⅔ of the PV panel. The drainage clip is available in two different sizes and is compatible for both existing and new mounting systems.
60th anniversary
Van der Valk Systems is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year in conjunction with the opening of its new production site. Founder Hans van der Valk began in 1963 with an innovative invention in the horticultural sector and the company has since grown into a company specializing in air mechanics and screen systems for horticulture and solar mounting systems.
