DoorBird is launching another innovation: a contactless doorbell module makes it possible to open doors without touching them. This technology is designed to promote safe, easy and aseptic use, and not only in public places. Sesame open you!
Ringing the doorbell by waving is the perfect solution for any building with many people. Depending on the configuration, a gesture for the door entry system can either make the doorbell ring or immediately open the door.
A germ-free environment is critical in public facilities such as hospitals, medical practices and nursing homes to reduce and prevent health risks to people. An IP video door station with a non-contact call button module can be useful in such places. Visitors can ring the bell intuitively by making a simple hand gesture and also get instant visual feedback from the module.
The intelligent motion sensor detects hand movements as well as a hand coming within 10 cm of the module. This also allows you to ring the doorbell while holding a package in your hand, for example. Just like a classic DoorBird call button, the module performs actions that are freely configurable on all DoorBird door stations, such as sending a call signal as a push notification, triggering a relay or HTTP(S) command, or starting a SIP call.
