Easytop valves and ball valves from Viega are widely used for their trouble-free operation, first-class sealing and user-friendly operation. Recently, Viega further expanded the range with three new models.

The expansion includes a plain inclined gate valve (free flow valve, model number 2237.2), a gate valve with spring loaded valve (combined free flow valve with check valve, model number 2238.2) and a check valve (model number 2239.2). The products were already available with press connection and R outside thread and are now also supplied with Rp inside thread (½, ¾, 1, 1¼, 1½ and 2 Rp or DN 15, 20, 25, 32, 40 and 50)

Advantages

The new Viega Easytop gate valves are distinguished by the ergonomically shaped handwheel and the signal-colored position indicator on the non-rising spindle. Also characteristic is the bronze armature housing that houses the all-stainless steel valve saddle unit with standard vulcanized seal. The seal is accurately pressed onto the also stainless steel valve seat when the valve is closed. The valve seat edge serves as a metal stop and thus prevents unnecessary, excessive stress on the valve seal while ensuring functional reliability. For clear differentiation between different applications, the valve handwheel rating plate can be finished in red or green.

As usual with other Easytop system fixtures, the valve tops are maintenance-free and have no dead space. Thus, they meet the strict hygiene requirements for installation components of drinking water systems in every respect.

The valves lend themselves to a maximum operating pressure of 1.6 MPa (PN 16) and maximum operating temperature of 90 °C. The inclined gate valve is supplied with KIWA approval, the gate valve with spring loaded valve and the check valve are supplied with DVGW approval mark
