Hiflex wants to offer this possibility by showing a live setup of the NFO Sinus frequency inverter connected to an air handling unit at the VSK-e.
"During the VSK-e, Hiflex is going to drive an air handling unit by a 'regular' PWM inverter as well as by the NFO Sine inverter. With an oscilloscope, Hiflex will demonstrate the difference between the two different inverters. This will allow visitors to see live the effects of a drive with a PWM signal and a drive with a pure sine curve. A PWM drive causes all kinds of problems such as EMC contamination, a drive with a pure sine wave does not," said Jeffrey Jaakke, drive specialist at Hiflex.
