For Remeha, VSK got off to an extra festive start right on opening day, due to the awarding of the VSK audience award. Is it a heat pump? Or is it a boiler? Well no, the Elga Ace All-in-one is both at the same time! Only just introduced and already available for you to admire and touch for real at VSK in the Jaarbeurs.

The Elga Ace All-in-one from Remeha is a combination of the indoor unit of a hybrid heat pump and that of a boiler in one unit. This makes it a nice addition to the existing split-unit and monoblock versions of the Elga Ace that we have known for some time. The Elga Ace All-in-one was designed specifically with an eye on the regulations that take effect from 2026, which require that at least a hybrid heat pump system be installed when the central heating boiler is replaced.

One-to-one replacement

So this combination is specifically intended for the replacement market in existing homes with gas connections. What's extra convenient is that this makes the combination very space-saving. Because instead of needing sufficient free space to place two (separate) appliances next to each other, in the Elga Ace All-in-one they sit fraternally in front of each other. Cleverly thought out, because this only requires a minimum of installation space.

The installation height is the same as for a normal central heating boiler, so it can often be placed in exactly the same place of the old boiler to be replaced. It's like your customer simultaneously getting a Tzerra Ace-Matic boiler and an Elga Ace heat pump, but efficiently combined in one housing. Despite the designation "all-in-one," it is of course a split-unit heat pump, so an outdoor unit still needs to be installed somewhere.

Shorter installation time

What does this mean specifically for you as an installer? The delivery consists of a frame on which the heat pump is already pre-assembled. First you attach it to the wall and then you can prepare the necessary connections and couplings. Then you place the boiler section on top and connect it with compression fittings. This completes the installation. Oh yes, a magnetic filter is also included. By the way, the connection points for refrigerants are located at the top of the unit for easy access.

Because heat pump and boiler are seamlessly integrated, they are guaranteed to work optimally together, and it also means that installation is simpler, installation time is significantly reduced, less can go wrong during installation and commissioning, and less installation material is required. Remeha says installation time is reduced by as much as 25 to 30 percent.

Remote management

Thanks to the integration, you control the device as installer through one and the same screen, where you immediately see all the system information as well. An IoT gateway is already built in, allowing you to go through all the steps to commission the Elge Ace All-in-one via the Smart Start App. Furthermore, remote management is possible via Remeha Connect, while your customers can use the Remeha Home App for operation.

The Remeha Elge Ace All-in-one comes in 4, 6 and 8 kW versions. For the boiler with a modulation range of 1 to 10, you can choose from a version of 24 to 28 kW (CW4) or 30 to 35 kW (CW5). The Elge Ace All-in-one is expected to appear on the market as early as the second quarter of this year.
