ETHERMA's solution is based on decentralized heating, which makes it easy to combine different techniques. By choosing the right composition of techniques, the concept meets requirements from the BENG and the Building Code."[/column_text][image image="20568″][column_text]The basis of the concept is the Fire+Ice heat pump. This air-to-air heat pump (COP 3.28) developed specifically for heating is placed in the living room-kitchen. The other rooms will be equipped with LAVA infrared panels, which will generate the desired heat quickly in these rooms only when needed. 'Only warm where and when you want it' says Bas Spekreijse, director of ETHERMA. 'With infrared panels, heating is fast and efficient, as practice and research in recent years have shown. But to also meet the BENG, we have developed the Fire+Ice. With the cooling function, the TO July can also be met.'
The concept is complemented by the 180-liter AQUA heat pump boiler (COP 3.26), enough hot water for a small family.
The installation of these products can easily be carried out in one day and does not require specialized installers.
At VSK, all components are shown in a demo living environment.
