Tech scale-up HR energy introduces a smart PVT heat pump, the "Qube," which does not require a large outdoor unit. This is made possible in part by using improved Qpanel PVT solar panels instead of an outdoor unit. These solar panels generate both electricity and heat. The PVT panels provide enough energy to fully power the heat pump as well as the heating and shower water.
The Qube is a smart heat pump that makes homes hybrid or completely gas-free. The heat pump features self-learning software, ensuring the highest efficiency.
Combined with a home battery and dynamic energy tariffs, the Qube is prepared for the future. In addition, the power from 2 to 8 kW in a very compact housing makes the Qube widely applicable for both small apartments and larger homes.
Ronald van der Ende, CTO of HR energy and responsible for the development of the Qube: "The Qube is the result to create a PVT heat pump that is not only efficient and powerful, but also compact, quiet and easy to install. We believe this Dutch product will be a gamechanger in the transition to renewable energy."
Enhanced PVT solar panels
These PVT panels make it possible to generate electricity and heat at the same time. Thus, a house can become completely self-sufficient. The updated Qpanel has a higher energy yield, so fewer PVT panels are needed. Qpanel PVT panels are therefore also applicable with little roof area.
Robbert van Diemen, CEO of HR energy, emphasizes the importance of the innovations: "An important starting point in the development is that the price of the Qsilence system can compete with commonly used systems such as air-water heat pumps. With the advantages of a silent and maintenance-free source with a higher efficiency. And that without an outdoor unit in your garden. "
